It began with a product worth making.
Shawn Crawford founded FrequenSee Labs to create original technology and challenge the conventional ways of building and selling it. Noctio, our first product, began as a practical response to a racing mind and a desire for a better sleep-audio tool.
That tool became a larger undertaking: build useful products with coherent authorship, keep the commercial relationship fair, and remain accountable for what we put into the world.
What we are building.
Noctio is a locally generated audio instrument for sleep, naps, relaxation and focus. It is currently in Android closed testing. Read the founder’s account of why it exists.
Mercentive extends that work into distribution: a Method independent producers can use themselves and a Platform we are building from practical operating needs. Free Lava Lamp is a planned standalone free app and an introduction to Noctio.
Authorship and responsibility stay close.
FrequenSee is founder owned. Shawn’s work spans technical architecture, product development and commercial execution. The company brings that systems view to the relationship between how a product is made, how it behaves, and how it earns money.
We want the speed and imagination of a small company with the care needed to deliver something people can rely on.
